About The Photographer

Hi, I am Sam Livermore of SLIVER Photography who is an Award-Winning Destination Wedding Photographer and, I have the best job in the world.

Currently living in the city of Calgary, AB, Canada, I live near some of the most epic views in the world. I am lucky enough to be trusted to photograph hundreds of weddings and events in this area and all over the world. I especially love being so close and shooting in Banff, Canmore and our beautiful Rocky Mountains. Photography for me has evolved in many ways. From the use of medium format film to digital imagery and I feel I'm learning something about this craft every day.

In this day and age, I feel it is not only important to capture images by being an excellent photographer, but now we have the ability to use digital processing to greatly enhance to share the story of your day. I have been blessed to be awarded numerous awards for my images and to be featured in magazines both in print and online. I believe strongly that capturing timeless images through authentic, beautiful moments as they happen is the best recipe! I would be honoured to be you Calgary Wedding Photographer.
